Russell has worked in Financial Services since 1999, founding the Practice in 2013 following a successful Wealth Management career with both Lloyds Bank and HSBC.
Alongside his Private Clients, Russell works closely with Business owners in the SME space, focusing on protecting their business, maximising capital extraction and retirement/succession planning. A critical area within this is developing effective retirement planning strategies as well as analysing current arrangements.
Following a career with Lloyds Bank since 1989, Julian co-founded the Practice in 2013.
Julian works closely with Private Clients creating strategies to protect family capital, help mitigate Inheritance Tax and provide Intergenerational Planning. Investment Planning is another area of specialism with clients requiring sophisticated portfolio construction and regular reviews. Julian often works jointly with Russell on complex cases, offering his expertise with particular regard to pension strategies for Company Directors.
Andrea accepted an invitation to join Lowe Sawyer in 2017, recognising her previous success as a Financial Adviser for both Lloyds Bank and most recently Wesleyan.
Andrea specialises in offering bespoke advice to GP’s, Dentists and Consultants. She understands that healthcare professionals find the time to manage their finances daunting. With her in-depth experience of the industry, Andrea can assist with both personal and business planning, with a key focus on tax efficiency and retirement strategies.
As the Practice Manager, Patrick is responsible for managing the day–to-day running of the office and ensuring the team is fully supported.
Patrick’s other main responsibility is to initially conduct research into appropriate investment and pension providers, with the final objective of preparing clients’ financial reports, ensuring they meet with the necessary compliance requirements. Patrick ensures that the advice we offer to our clients is thoroughly checked, which enables St. James's Place Wealth Management to guarantee the advice.
